At Waveny Care Center, we value and understand the importance of rehabilitative care and offer a range of services to help patients achieve their most successful outcomes.
Whether following an inpatient stay, or aiding in the recovery from an injury, illness or medical condition, Waveny Care Center’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Services are available to everyone age 16 and above.
In addition to our core physical, occupational and speech therapies, we provide therapeutic massage, nutritional counseling and health promotion programs to complement our rehabilitative services. Specialty programs include

Using state-of-the-art equipment and therapies, our experienced staff will treat and support you in reaching your highest potential, while strictly adhering to your doctor’s orders. You’ll benefit from an individualized care plan and our encouraging team’s enthusiasm and clinical expertise.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists are committed to providing an optimum level of care. They employ exercise and therapeutic strategies to address impairments resulting from orthopedic, neurological or cardiopulmonary disorders, and provide the expertise and motivation necessary to help our patients reach their goals.
Occupational Therapy
For those whose ability to function has been impaired by physical injury, disease or disability, our occupational therapists can help to increase or restore the highest levels of independence for daily living including bathing, dressing, homemaking, and social experiences
Speech Therapy
Our speech therapists work with patients who have undergone procedures affecting speech and language capabilities, or who have impairments due to neurological disorders that affect speech, swallowing or cognition.
Therapeutic Massage
Our massage therapy services provide a holistic approach to overall health and well-being. A therapeutic massage may help to reduce stress, increase flexibility and range of motion, speed recovery from injury and alleviate pain.
