Waveny offers a variety of menu choices for each meal. Our menu is full of nutrient-filled foods specially prepared by our chef whose main focus is on the health and wellness of our residents.
Steven DaCruz, CDM, CFPP
General Manager, Compass Group (Waveny LifeCare Network)
Steven DaCruz is the General Manager for Morrison Living, overseeing Waveny LifeCare Network. Steve completed his professional training in nutrition and foodservice at the University of North Dakota. He is a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM®) and Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP®) and handles all aspects of food service dining, EVS and laundry services for Waveny. Steve oversees and develops the department budgets for those respective service lines, as well as manages hiring, training and development of all staff within those lines. His other responsibilities include nutrition consulting, meal planning, inventory control and purchasing. Steve is also fluent in Portuguese.
Prior to joining Waveny in 2015 as the Director of Dining Services, he was the Food Service Director at the Fairview of Fairfield, Chef Manager at Star Inc. in Norwalk and Chef at the Birchwood Country Club.
