Waveny received an unexpected gift of beautiful wedding flowers from Emma and Brad Grogan. Emma’s wedding took place on Friday and her father Tony Ryan, a New Canaan firefighter, kindly dropped off the donation. Emma’s fond memories of her great grandmother Ingeborg Berquist as a resident of Waveny Care Center in 2005 prompted this lovely gift. Emma’s grandmother Gail Miller Smith was also a Waveny resident and her uncle John Berquist has been a dedicated member of Waveny’ volunteer team for many years.
