Strolling along the cobblestone-patterned carpet beneath the 175-foot skylight, residents may pick up notions from the general store, visit the barber/beauty shop or meet a friend at the ice cream parlor. They may also enjoy a tranquil walk through one of our three beautiful courtyard gardens.

Unique to The Village is its innovative blend of activities - based on assessed abilities and expressed interests - with the participants from Waveny's Adult Day Program. Each studio is perfectly suited to accommodate a resident with memory impairment and has a large, private bathroom. Residents' personal furnishings and memorabilia complement the built-in wardrobe and bureau provided.

In addition to their apartments, residents also enjoy cozy living rooms with virtual fireplaces, where they can watch television, play board games, work on a puzzle or gather with family and friends.

There's also plenty of time for conversation during the three-chef prepared meals served daily in lovely dining areas. While catered meals, nutritious snacks and personal laundry services are covered in the all-inclusive fee, residents have complete access to well-appointed country kitchens and laundry areas.
